"Smart meters are one of many examples of how the constitutional right to privacy, which often is associated also with health, safety, security manifestations, is being eroded, step by step, coercively. "The propaganda is overwhelming on one side. Oh, here are the great benefits; they never mention the hazards." "It's just one more step toward technological despotism that corporations and government collude under various false arguments."

"This is the first generation to have kids from age 10 up to adulthood with cell phones right next to their heads and brains. Brains are developing up to age 22 to 25, so I think we have to be safe," stated Green. To raise awareness of RF exposure, Green introduced a measure calling for cell phones sold in Hawaii to come with a prominent warning -- similar to what smokers see on the sides of cigarette packages.

When neighbors caught wind of a proposed new cell tower to be erected adjacent to the Lake City High School ball field in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, they were stunned. Among them was Sue Anderson, who organized a group of concerned neighbors to research the details. "Only about 50 property owners within 300 feet of the proposed tower were notified by the city about an upcoming hearing on the tower proposal. Hundreds of other homeowners were left completely in the dark," says Anderson...
