This alarm that will result as soon as possible in "guidelines to limit as much as possible the use of mobile phones to children, avoiding completely the use of up to 10 years and limiting, with proper precautions, use even for older ages". Article in English & Italian "Mobile phones,”said Sapia, “are two-way radios that rely upon the ear to talk and there is evidence that the interaction of electromagnetic fields with human biological systems causes a localized increase in body temperature. Very prolonged exposures can cause tissue necrosis (cell death)."
TV and video game use correlates with increased obesity (Tremblay 2005). Children who are allowed a device in their bedrooms have 30% increased incidence of obesity Technology overuse is implicated as a causal factor in rising rates of child depression, anxiety, attachment disorder, attention deficit, autism, bipolar disorder, psychosis and problematic child behavior
"This is the first generation to have kids from age 10 up to adulthood with cell phones right next to their heads and brains. Brains are developing up to age 22 to 25, so I think we have to be safe," stated Green. To raise awareness of RF exposure, Green introduced a measure calling for cell phones sold in Hawaii to come with a prominent warning -- similar to what smokers see on the sides of cigarette packages.
Magnetic fields exposure and childhood leukemia risk: A meta-analysis based on 11,699 cases and 13,194 controls
CONCLUSIONS: The result in this meta-analysis indicated that magnetic field exposure level may be associated with childhood leukemia.
All of this may sound very “cool” to a lot of people. But what happens if we are all required to have “electronic identity tattoos” someday? What happens if an oppressive government uses this technology to watch, track, monitor and control all of us 24 hours a day with this technology? What happens if you are not able to get a job, have a bank account or buy anything without “proper identification”? I think that you can see where I am going with this. Technology is truly a double-edged sword. It can do great good, but it can also be used for great evil.
A scholarly article on cell phone safety published online in the journal Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine reported the finding that cell phones used in the shirt or pants pocket exceed the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) exposure guidelines and that children absorb twice as much microwave radiation from phones as do adults.
Our results provide the first evidence, suggesting that the EMF emitted by a commercial mobile phone affects rCBF in humans. These results are consistent with the postulation that EMF induces changes in neuronal activity. Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow & Metabolism
Cell phone towers in Kolkata have been taking a heavy toll on the health of people living close to them. It could be triggering a range of disorders from fatigue, memory loss, headache and hearing impairment to more serious ones like cardiac problems and even congenital defects, claims the study conducted by researchers of the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Cancer Research Institute (NSCRI).
